Dr Ajit Pathak elected for 21 st term as the National President of The Public Relations Society of India (PRSI)

New Executive elected in Delhi

The Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) is pleased to announce the election of Dr. Ajith Pathak as its National President. India’s first Doctorate in Public Relations and Past Secretary of Global Alliance of PR and Communication Management, Dr Pathak served as General Manager in reputed Indian Oil Corporation. Recognising his contributions to the Public Relations Society of India and International Public Relations
Dr Ajit Pathak was honoured with “Most Inspiring Leader Award” during India Association Congress organised at Le Meridian Gurugram where 300 Associations as active participants.

Dr Pathak has also been Board Member of International Public Relations Association. Considering his contributions and commitment the PRSI once again elected as National President. This is the 21st time to Dr.Ajith Pathak gaining the confidence of PRSI National Executive to elect him as President.

The announcement was made during the Society’s National Executive Elections held here on Saturday in New Delhi.

The following office bearers have been unanimously elected for the term 2025–2027:

• Dr. Ajith Pathak – National President
• Dr. P. L. K. Murthy – Secretary General
• Sri Dilip Chauhan – Secretary-Treasurer
• Sri Narendra Mehta – Vice President (North)
•  Ms. M. S. Mazumdar – Vice President (East)
• Sri S. P. Singh – Vice President (West)
• Sri U. S. Sarma – Vice President (South)

Public Relations Society of India (PRSI), established in 1958, is the national association of public relations and communication professionals in India. Its mission is to promote public relations as a recognized profession and to interpret its role as a strategic management function in various sectors.

The newly elected leadership team is expected to further strengthen PRSI’s mission to promote excellence in public relations practice, provide a platform for professional development, and foster networking among its members. PRSI looks forward to Dr. Ajith Pathak’s visionary leadership and Dr. P L K Murthy’s able stewardship in taking the Society to greater heights.
