National Public Relations Day Observed
Traditional values are the source of social progress: Amudala Murali
Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) Tirupathi Chapter celebrated National Public Relations Day at Tirupati Youth Hostel on Sunday evening. On this occasion, a conference was held on the topic “Nation Building with Traditional Values: Role of Public Relations”.
Mr. Amudala Murali, a prominent Telugu poet, who was the chief guest for this program said that India is developing technologically and in this situation, orthodox values will protect the youth from getting addicted. He said that values should be taught to children within the family and then India should be added to school education.
He said that today’s youth do not know our traditions, festivals and thus do not know the importance of locality. He said that Sanatana Dharma stands as a guide for human growth. The role of public relations has become very important in spreading this Sanatana Dharma. He explained that good results can be achieved through good public relations.
Dr Yuvashree, assistant professor of the Telugu Department of Sri Padmavati Women’s University, spoke about the importance of attachment, friendship, etc in Sanatana Dharma. He asked the youth of today to learn and follow the ideals followed by Lord Rama in the Treta Yuga and Lord Krishna in the Dwapara Yuga through Sanatana Dharma.
