Keeping in mind the upcoming elections Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) Visakhapatnam Chapter organised a Voter Awareness Programme targeting first time voters and young voters of various educational institution in city. PRSI National Secretary General Dr.PLKMurthy exhort the young voters to actively take part in voting as citizens of the country and for them to understand the importance of their vote and the value their opinion brings to the decision-making process. PRSI South India Vice-President USSharma highlighted the constitutional and ethical aspect of voting. He stressed on the importance of choosing rationally and wisely and cautioned the students not to be influence by money power or other influences and not to be swayed by winds of rhetoric and unfulfilled promises. The was followed by releasing voter awareness poster by student community. PRSI Visakhapatnam Secretary A.Govinda Rao, Senior Member Vijaya Prasad, Treasurer N.V.Narasimham and others participated in the meeting.

Smt. Botsa Jhansi, Contestant for MP in Visakhapatnam Constituency, Shri M Bharat, Contestant for MP in Visakhapatnam and Sri M Bharat, Contestant for MP, Visakhapatnam Constitue released the posters and assured of creating awareness in the voters for voting.
